Kelly is based in the North Lake Tahoe region where she works as Project Leader for Hela Bima World. She began attending Dr. Abey’s Wisdom Teachings and Events in 2015 while working for the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation. Dr. Abey’s loving and kind spirit as well as his powerful healing drew her to follow his event schedule and attend any opportunity she could to sit with him in meditation and mantra. She is dedicated to promoting Hela Bima’s mission of “energizing the world for healthy living” and works with a variety of event volunteers and attendees ensuring people may receive the maximum benefit from Dr. Abey’s teachings.

As a Colorado native, Kelly was raised with an appreciation for the outdoors. She first came to Lake Tahoe to work as a ski and snowboard instructor and has since reached out to the non-profit community with the desire to give back. Some of her interests include singing, yoga and meditation. Moving forward, Kelly is working to increase the channels of rice distribution for the Hela Bima Rice Project as the project continues to expand.

For the upcoming event season, we are looking for volunteers and ambassadors with a passion for creating change in the world. The Hela Bima Rice Project is committed to supporting the Weera Gemunu Farmers Collective of Sri Lanka, now comprised of nearly 600 rice farmers. Those interested are encouraged to inquire about volunteer training programs and opportunities to help at events. Later this summer, we will launch a more comprehensive Brand Ambassador Program to expand our sales footprint, bringing our ancient and blessed rice to more communities.

We are always looking for people who wish to support the Hela Bima Rice Project. Please contact Kelly Larson for more information: klarson@helabimarice.com.
